Motivation and Engagement

Motivation can be thought of as the fuel for a car. It’s essentially energy, the drive that gets us going and performing at our best.

It refers to the internal and external factors that stimulate an individual’s desire to achieve goals. These factors drive the initiation, direction, intensity and persistence of behaviour.

Engagement is more about the big picture and how you feel about your work and your workplace. It refers to the emotional commitment an employee has towards their organisation and its goals. Engaged employees are deeply involved in, enthusiastic about, and committed to their work.

Our goal is to help individuals, teams and corporations to understand what motivates them in the workplace and how this valuable knowledge can be best utilised to maintain or improve motivation and engagement at work.
