You can think of motivation as the fuel in a car. It’s energy; it’s what gets you going. Psychologists have defined motivation as “the impetus that gives purpose or direction to behaviour and operates in humans at a conscious or subconscious level.” As humans, we derive our energy at work in different ways; different motivators are important to different people and our energy levels can wax and wane.
The Individual Motivation Program is our flagship product. After around 15 minutes on-line completing the self-assessment diagnostic, you’ll receive a detailed 15 page report on what motivates you and how motivated you are. The report is not only practical but also extremely revealing as most individuals have little idea about what truly motivates them. We’ll folllow this up with a de-briefing session to make sure you fully understand the report and all it’s implications.
According to Gallup, only 23% of workers globally are engaged at work. If you are part of this cohort then this program will help you understand what it is you are motivated by and why you feel so engaged at work. Armed with this data and increased self-awareness, you’ll understand what you need to do to ‘fuel’ your motivators so you continue to remain motivated and engaged at work. If you fall into the much larger group of people that are not engaged at work, this program will help you to understand why that is and what you can do to improve things. We have a responsibility to motivate ourselves to a large degree, it’s not all about our manager or our employer. When you’ve completed this program, you’ll know what needs to be done to increase your motivation and to boost your energy at work. This program will not only increase self-esteem but increases your capability to perform at a higher level.

Program Overview
Step 1 – Introduction
We meet to discuss your current situation at work; your role, responsibilities and any issues you’re currently facing. We’ll also cover your objectives and what you’d like to achieve from the program.
Step 2 – Data Collection
We email you a link directing you to the Motivational Map questionnaire and we collect the data generated. Shortly after completion, you’ll receive an electronic copy of your Individual Motivational Map.
Step 3 – Debrief
We meet again to discuss your Motivational Map and its implications. We examine in detail your top motivators along with your weakest motivator and consider how fulfilled these motivators are. If you are currently well motivated, we explore strategies with you to ensure you remain motivated by continuing to ‘fuel’ your top motivators. If your motivation levels need a boost, we’ll look at the various ways in which you might make changes to ensure your motivators are better fulfilled moving forward. Step 3 always includes a detailed examination of reward strategies to ensure motivation is either improved or maintained as appropriate.
What to Expect
The Individual Motivation Program will provide you with greater self-awareness and a deep understanding of what motivates you in a work environment. Armed with this newfound information about your relationship with work, you’ll be in a position to unlock the best version of yourself, focussed on your own personal and career development.
We’ll work with you to ensure you understand how to ‘fuel’ your motivators so you enjoy the benefits of longer periods at work in a state of ‘flow.’ In addition, you’ll have a whole new language around motivation that facilitates more meaningful conversations with your manager. Imagine your next performance review when you can openly discuss your motivators at work and identify ways to link your motivators to your objectives!
